What Are Eyelash Extensions & How Are They Applied?

Lash extensions are a professional salon service where individual lashes made of silk or synthetic mink are attached to your natural lashes.  Like your natural lashes, our individual lash fibers range in length and diameter and are attached one-by-one with a medical grade adhesive that is safe for the eye area. The end result is so realistic because these lash extensions are not strip lashes or clumps of lashes. They are individual micro lashes and they are seamlessly adhered to your natural lashes. Even close up, you won’t be able to tell they are not your own!

Our technician is trained on how to apply lash extensions and most importantly, she knows where to place them in order to frame the natural shape of your eyes and add length and volume strategically to give you that eye opening, lifted just-back-from-vacation effect.

How Much Do Lash Extensions Cost?

Pricing will depend on the type and amount of individual lashes used. Your first service will be the longest in order to apply a full set of lash extensions. In order to maintain your lash extensions, they will need to be filled in your natural lashes shed. The natural lash shedding cycle follows a 4 week cycle, with a portion of lashes starting to shed after a week. The sooner you come back to have them “refilled” the less expensive the service will be.

Darker, More Dramatic Lashes With Lash Tinting

If you are interested in darker lashes, we also offer eyelash tinting. Using a semi permanent dye that is safe for the eye area, we tint your natural lashes to give them a fuller appearance.

Frequent Questions About Eyelash Extensions

How long will my lash extensions last?

Lash extensions will last according to your natural lash cycle. A normal shed cycle is typically 30-45 days and you can lose anywhere from 3-5 lashes per day. If properly cared for, your lash extensions can last up to 4 weeks. We recommend coming in every 2-3 weeks for lash fills to maintain a full and beautiful looking set.

Will lash extensions damage my natural lashes?

No! Each extension is attached to a single natural lash which grows out and sheds as it matures. The adhesive is formulated to create a solid bond which doesn’t harm your lashes as it gently cures to them. Your extensions will feel weightless and comfortable.
